Heliner is a growing company that designs and sells CNC machines. We believe in fostering lasting relationships with clients, and our website content is the first step in that process. About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Technical Writer/website designer with a solid understanding of engineering and CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will be a student or recent graduate. The scope of the work includes search engine optimization (SEO), and digital content writing for our company website. Additional responsibilities in social media management and other content may follow. As we are a small team, there is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time
position and include more responsibilities as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimise company website with the goal of reaching the first page of Google search results.
- Manage and grow our social media presence.
- Write and edit other content related to our CNC machines.
Qualifications
- Experience in technical writing, ideally related to engineering or a similar industry. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide a short example of their writing.
- Good understanding of CNC machines and the engineering industry.
- Experience designing and writing website content. Familiarity with WordPress is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Hours/Location
This is a contract/part-time position. Approximately 8 hours per week, with times and locations negotiated with the employer. There are no travel requirements for this role.

We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Industrial Technical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in industrial machines and be open to acquiring new skills in this field. This role requires excellent communication skills, a general understanding of technology, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial machines and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on projects involving new machine implementation or system upgrades.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to continuously expand knowledge of industrial machines and technologies.
- Support the development and maintenance of documentation for machine procedures, user guides, and training materials.
- Respond to technical inquiries, providing clear and concise explanations and instructions to non-technical users.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the broader team and company objectives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial machinery or related field is preferred.
